Over the 4 days of events you can join tens of thousands as they enjoy a wide variety of food and drink, bingo, the nightly dances in the entertainment tent, American Legion Baseball Tournament, modified and slow pitch softball tournaments, a bean bag tourney, a kiddie parade, a 5K Race (SEE 2011 5K RESULTS HERE!) , the Delano Royalty Coronation, and the American Wrestling Federation, all surrounded by the fun and excitement of GoldStar Amusements!
2011 in Review
Thanks to all who joined us for this 2011 4th of July Celebration. The entire weekend was a success thanks to everyone came and enjoyed the festivities, those who competed in the tournaments, and the countless volunteers who make the celebration happen. We hope you had a great time and come and join us next year!

Directions
DIRECTIONS: Delano is on Highway 12 about 25 miles west of the Twin Cities; when you get into town you'll turn at the Legion Club stoplights on Bridge Ave. into downtown Delano (right when coming from the east, left when coming from the west); turn left at the first stopsign (River Street); turn left on River Street and in 4 blocks you'll be in middle of all the fun. Parking can be found off of River Street, on residential streets around the park, and at the Delano Elementary School (a short 4 block walk down the hill).

Merrill Pavlovich, MSHSL Hall-of-Famer
The 2011 Delano 4th of July Parade Grand Marshal will be Minnesota State High School League Coaching Hall of Famer Merrill Pavlovich! Pav has spent his 36-year coaching career at Delano High School where he has amassed the 15th most wins in state football coaching history, including 10 Wright County Conference titles and 9 state tournament appearances.
