Market in the Park is a featured event within our larger community celebration, bringing together talented artists, crafters, and specialty food vendors in a lively outdoor setting. We invite vendors offering handmade arts and crafts, as well as packaged food products, to be part of this vibrant marketplace that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and community.

Vendors may apply for the event below (see Vendor Application below)

  • Application fee is $80 (ONE DAY) or $120 (BOTH DAYS)
  • Please read vendor requirements and restrictions carefully before applying.
  • The Delano 4th of July cannot guarantee admittance to every applicant.
  • Vendor booth space is 12’ x 12’

Vendor Requirements and Restrictions:

Delano 4th of July Market in the Park Vendor Food Guidelines

All food vendors must have an applicable license issued through the State of Minnesota.

Permitted Food Products.

The market welcomes the sale of pre-packaged food items that are NOT intended to be consumed on-site. These include, but are not limited to::

  • Specialty food products such as mustard, horseradish, honey, and maple syrup.
  • Pantry or non-perishable canned items such as pickles, tomatoes, sauces, salsa,
  • soups, fruit, jams, jellies & preserves. Un-popped popcorn.
  • Dried herbs, spices, and teas.
  • Dry mixes such as baking or soup.
  • Raw frozen meat or poultry.
  • Farm Fresh Eggs.

Note: All items must be packaged for home use, labeled accordingly, and comply with local cottage food laws or health department regulations.

Restricted Food Sales

To maintain a non-concession-style market, market vendors are not permitted to sell food that is prepared or served for immediate consumption on-site. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Hot foods (e.g. hot dogs, tacos, pizza, funnel cakes)
  • Prepared meals or meal components that require no further cooking. (e.g. sandwiches, bread, rolls, pastries)
  • Ready-to-eat snacks or beverages. (e.g. prepared popcorn, caramel apples, smoothies, ice cream, candy, dried fruit leathers, trail mix blends, granola, beef jerky, snack sticks)
  • All open or loosely packaged items intended to be eaten at the market.
